The Indian Society of Technical Analysts is a proposed independent professional body dedicated to advancing technical analysis, research, ethics and market education.
India’s financial markets have matured significantly, yet an independent professional body dedicated exclusively to technical analysis, market research and disciplined practice has been missing. The Indian Society of Technical Analysts is being established to fill this critical gap.
The Society aims to bring together market professionals, researchers, educators, traders and students under a common institutional platform that emphasises rigorous research, ethical conduct, peer-reviewed publication and continuing professional development.
The Society is being organised as an independent, non-profit professional body. It is currently in the process of legal registration; until registration is completed, all activities are presented as expressions of intent.
To establish a nationally respected and internationally connected professional society dedicated to the advancement of technical analysis and market research.
Advance the professional practice of technical analysis in India.
Promote academic and applied research in market behaviour.
Publish a peer-reviewed journal and research working papers.
Uphold and disseminate a formal Code of Ethics.
Organise national and international conferences.
Design continuing professional development pathways.
Foster collaboration with universities, brokerages and fintech.
Support students and early-career analysts.
Represent Indian technical analysts internationally.
The Society is proposed to be constituted as an independent non-profit professional body under applicable Indian law, with a governing council, member general body and independent committees.
Independent, transparent and member-led governance with clearly defined committees, terms and accountability to the general body.
A formal Code of Ethics and a disciplinary framework governing member conduct, disclosures, conflict-of-interest and public communication.
A staged plan from formation to national conference to international engagement.

Through the proposed Indian Society of Technical Analysts, he seeks to build an inclusive, research-oriented and ethically governed professional platform for technical analysts across India.
Promotional, educational or administrative support does not override the independent governance of the Society after its formal incorporation.
