Author Guidelines.

Manuscript preparation, submission and ethical requirements for authors.

1. Scope

The Journal of Technical Market Research welcomes original research articles, methodology papers, case studies and short communications in technical analysis, market cycles, quantitative studies, behavioural finance and related areas.

2. Manuscript structure

  • Title, author names and affiliations, corresponding author details.
  • Structured abstract of 200–300 words.
  • Keywords: three to six terms.
  • Introduction, Data and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
  • References in APA 7 style.
  • Charts as high-resolution figures with captions.

3. Formatting

Submissions must be provided in editable format (DOCX or LaTeX source). Font Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, page numbers on all pages. Equations must be typeset with an equation editor.

4. Data and reproducibility

Authors are encouraged to make data and code available where possible, subject to licensing. All data sources must be cited.

5. Ethics

All submissions are subject to the Journal’s Publication Ethics policy including originality, no plagiarism, no data fabrication, disclosure of conflicts and consent.

6. Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted via the online submission form. Correspondence with the Editorial Office is via the Society’s email.

7. Peer review

All research articles undergo double-blind peer review, typically involving two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are communicated to the corresponding author.

8. Revisions

Where revisions are requested, authors must respond to each reviewer comment point by point and submit a marked-up manuscript along with a clean copy.

9. Copyright and open access

Accepted articles are published open access under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence.

10. Fees

Article processing fees are proposed to be waived for the inaugural issues. Fee structures, if any, will be published on this page after formal launch.
